It’s Great to be 8!

                               

2010 started out with not just 1 but 2 baptisms for the Dockstader family.  On January 2nd Tanner & Hannah were baptized by their father.  Daddy was also given the privilege of welcoming Tanner & Hannah as the newest members of the Clovis 2nd Ward since he also happens to be their bishop.  Grandpa Tanner gave the talk on baptism and Uncle Tyler gave the closing prayer.  It was a much anticipated event in our household and we are very proud of Tanner & Hannah for their decision to be baptized. They were confirmed the next day at church.  Daddy, Grandpa Tanner, Uncle Dylan, and Uncle John participated in the confirmation.

                 

To my sweet little munchkins, I am so proud of you and what you have become.  You have grown into such amazing children.  Still, it seems like only yesterday I held you in my arms for the first time.  I wonder how long it will be before I can’t call you “Baby” & “Buddy” anymore.  How long before you stop hugging me so hard that it squeezes the breath right out of me? Will there come a day when you stop rushing back to the car at school in the morning because you forgot to kiss me goodbye?  Will there be a time when you no longer wish to snuggle with me?  I hope that day never comes.   But just incase it does I will cherish every squeeze, every kiss & every chance to snuggle!

                 

I will never be able to adequately express my gratitude to my Father in Heaven for entrusting me with the two amazing spirits that you are.  Happy Birthday Tanner & Hannah! We love you!
